About 'portfolio art'|Your art portfolio in your pocket








The               Art               Institute               of               Orange               County               in               Santa               Ana,               California,               is               now               open               to               accepting               new               applications               from               non-profit               organizations               who               would               like               to               have               designs               created               for               their               organization               free               of               charge.

During               the               past               three               years,               the               Art               Institute               in               Santa               Ana,               California               has               offered               complementary               design               services,               provided               by               students               to               local               non-profit               organizations.

Over               the               past               three               years,               students               at               the               school               have               completed               almost               100               projects               for               non-profit               organizations               under               the               Community               Arts               Resource               Exchange               Program               (CARE).
               The               CARE               Program               rewards               everyone               who's               involved.

The               students               obtain               professional               experience               as               well               as               pieces               for               their               portfolio               they               can               use               to               display               their               talents               at               job               interviews,               and               the               non-profit               agencies               receive               free               designs               for               brochures,               logos,               postcards,               flyers,               websites,               poster               design,               the               creation               of               multimedia               projects,               and               computer               animation.

Students               also               get               the               satisfaction               of               knowing               they               are               contributing               to               good               causes               and               organizations               that               help               individuals               in               need.
               In               a               press               release               from               the               Art               Institute,               Catherine               Stickel,               Graphic               Design               and               Advertising               Academic               Director               said,               "The               CARE               program               allows               students               to               apply               what               they've               learned               in               the               classroom               to               professional               projects.

It's               real-world               experience               that               gives               students               fully-produced               work               for               their               portfolios."               The               program               helps               students               apply               techniques               they               learned               in               the               classroom               to               professional               working               situations,               which               helps               prepare               them               for               jobs               after               they               graduate.
               Several               non-profit               organization               have               benefited               from               the               CARE               program               at               the               Art               Institute               in               Santa               Ana,               California.

Orange               County               Coastkeeper               in               Newport               Beach,               the               Orange               County               Public               Library,               and               Paint               Your               Heart               Out               in               Santa               Ana               have               benefited               from               the               CARE               program               recently.
               Cindy               Monreal,               part               of               the               Orange               County               Professional               Firefighters               Association               stated               in               the               press               release:               "The               students               delivered               exactly               what               we               needed.

It               was               really               easy               to               work               with               the               class.

I               don't               think               we               would               have               had               a               better               experience               working               with               professionals."               Cindy               Monreal               worked               with               students               on               designing               a               logo               for               the               Orange               County               Professional               Firefighters               Association.
               The               Art               Institute               has               35               campus               locations,               including               one               in               Orange               County,               California.

The               Art               Institutes               have               a               total               of               over               125,000               alumni               and               has               been               dedicated               to               providing               students               with               education               for               over               35               years.

The               Art               Institute               in               Orange               County,               California               offers               programs               in               Game               Art               &               Design,               Advertising,               Culinary               Arts,               Media               Arts               &               Animation,               Interior               Design,               Industrial               Design,               Web               Design               &               Interactive               Media,               Graphic               Design,               and               Visual               &               Game               Programming.

They               are               dedicated               to               helping               students               prepare               for               the               real               work               world               after               they               graduate.
               The               Art               Institute               is               now               accepting               applications               from               non-profit               organizations               who               would               like               to               receive               students'               assistance               in               developing               designs               for               their               organization's               marketing               material.

Non-profits               may               apply               for               assistance               in               website               design,               poster               design,               logo               development,               multimedia               projects,               postcards,               flyer               creation,               and               brochure               development.
